Rockport artist Ann Tracy has created a special piece of digital art that she is offering for sale and 50 percent of the price will be donated to United Help Ukraine, a nonprofit charity in Kyiv. The print, 9 by 12 inches on archival paper printed in her studio with archival, pigment inks, will only be $20. People wanting to support this effort, can either email her at anntracy51 at gmail.com or call 207-233-5230.
“I wanted to keep the price of the prints very affordable”, Tracy said. “I truly believe that every little bit helps in raising money to help the people of the Ukraine, who are victims of the Russian war machine and the insane delusions of Putin.”
Although Tracy has only lived in the Midcoast region since June of 2021, she has lived in the Portland area since 2011, when she, her husband, dog & cats moved back to the East Coast after over 20 years in Northern California. Tracy grew up in Fryeburg and Cape Neddick before her family moved south to Massachusetts and then west to Colorado, where she met her husband.
